Greetings and WELCOME to the site, shuno!

I moved your question out of Introductions to this forum topic area so that it will be more likely to be noticed and addressed by those who are best able to answer it. Your question will get noticed much more here.

Introductions is for people to introduce themselves only, and we try to not ask questions there. We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little bit about yourself, if you would be willing to do that.

I do note, that your question already received a response while it was in Introductions.

Thanks!

I agree, Metathione is only the name brand of the generic brand glutathione, which is a tripeptide. Taking glutathione orally (or it's name brand) will not produce successful results because it is not absorbed well across the GI tract. To have the side effect of lightened skin from glutathione, the body will need to have absorbed large amounts of glutathione. It's scientifically proven that it is unable to lighten the skin this way and "whitening capsules, pills, sprays", etc are ineffective and "skin whitening" companies only try to market their "whitening" pills under false advertisements.

There is no difference between them, its just that metathione has a glutathione, glutathione is the active ingredient of metathione. Metathione has glutathione as its active ingredient. Glutathione is technically a protein, being made of 3 amino acids, cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine, which are produced normally by the body and have a very strong antioxidant effect. Hence Metathione is just a brand of Glutathione.
