You're going to be looking for a simple Business Liability policy to start. You will have to check around because not all companies insure handyman-type businesses; they want a specific trade.

You would also want to add on an Inland Marine Floater. This protects your tools (from theft) as you carry them from job site to site.

As for an estimate, it's really impossible for me to guess because it depends on finding a company to insure your specific business. Check with your current insurance provider (where you have your homeowner's and auto insurance) as a starting point. Good luck!
