My dog has 4 skin colored bumps on her. They don't seem to bother her, but she will scratch if I touch it.The first one I saw is now twice the size, and it's been there for 2 months at least. She's a shep/chow mix.6 years old.Thank you.

Odds are they are just fatty cysts, which are harmless.
However, all lumps and bumps, especially on an older dog need to be checked out by a vet to rule out the dreaded C-word.

Kind of sounds like a hot spot. Hot spots are extremely itchy. Its almost like a hives if I remember right. They can come from a bug bite. The infected area irritates the dog so they scratch and lick causing the hot spot.
You can go to the pet stores and get a hot spot treatment shampoo to help relieve his itchy skin. The Best Natural Remedies to Cure Hot Spots in Dogs. (http://www.earthclinic.com/Pets/hot_spots.html) There are some remedies to help with hot spots. I'm pretty sure a vet would give you a cream and antibiotics. But you might want to go in and get a skin scraping before you try anything.

Hate to be a bubble burster but hot spots are usually weeping, red and extremely itchy, not skin colored.
My boy had one a few months back, it drove him mad until it went away.

Well... are these lumps hard? Or are they kind of squishy?
Last time I had a dog with hot spots they were just red, itchy bumps.
These lumps could just be granulomas. Get a skin scraping and a biopsy of the lumps.
