HCl[math] is an acid.
Bases react with acids to form water and salts.
[math]Na_2CO_3 + 2 HCl \rightarrow H_2CO_3 + 2 NaCl \rightarrow H_2O + CO_2 + 2 NaCl
I'm not sure what you intended to conven with
C_6H_12O_6 which is the formula for sugar.
