I have formatted a postcard and want to print a sample on plain 8x11 paper to make sure everything lines up but the printer is asking for an maual feed which I tried and that didn't work. Any suggestions.

When you say it doesn't work, what does it do? Refuse to feed? Jam? Print anything?

As a suggestion, could you cut the paper down to the size of your postcard and feed it as if it were the postcard?

I finally got it to print. I had to go into printer properties and change the tray default and it worked.
