Hi, my name is Courtney. I'm 16 years old and I'm really freaked out. When I was 6 years old, at my old house, I use to wake up in the middle of the night to someone or something whispering in my ear, but I could never understand what they were saying. It happened a few times a month, but stopped when I turned 7. Now, I'm 16, I've moved twice after living in the house where I was woken up by whispering, but it's started back up again. Not the whispering, but different paranormal things. Last night I was laying in bed, and I had my t.v on, but the volume was turned down to 0. It started going up by itself. I thought I might be on my remote, but looked over on my dresser, and the remote was sitting there. So, I went and turned my t.v down. I was about to walk out of my room, and my t.v started going up by it's self again. I unplugged it and walked to my sisters room (It's right beside mine) I was standing in her doorway was explaining what was going on with my t.v, as I was explaining, I heard a growl come from my room. I thought it was one of my dogs, but both were sleeping in my moms room on the other side of the house. My sister came in my room to see the t.v turning up, so I turned it on and nothing happened. When my sister walked out of my room it started turning back up by it self. My sister watched from the staircase beside our bedrooms.
After that, I went in my sisters room and stayed there for the night. Before we went to sleep, she took a picture of me to see if anything would show up, and there was a shadow in her closet behind me that was only in the picture. Then, when I was laying in her bed, I felt something poke my head. I thought it was my sister trying to be funny, but she was faced the other way.

This isn't the first time this has happened to me. It happens everyday on the 16th of every month. I never thought anything of it, I thought it was just coincidence. But I always wrote down in my diary what happened on those days...

It started on July 16th, exactly 2 weeks after I turned 16 with the feeling of someone watching me. August 16th, the same thing, only there was bumps and stuff in the middle of the night coming from downstairs and my walls.
September 16th - my lights started flickering by themselves, and there were more bumps on the walls.
October 16th - full batteries died out of no where. I charged my iPod and my camera batteries one night for school, I woke up and both were completely dead. And my sister took pictures of me, and in each one there was some sort of shadow standing beside me. November 16th - my t.v is turning up by itself, growls, bumps, weird things in pictures and my iPod was dead this morning and my camera batteries were dead. My iPod and camera batteries were both completely charged for school.

I have no idea what's going on. I need some answers. I think it's weird that it started when I was 6, stopped when I turned 7, then started when I turned 16. 66... It makes me wonder what's going to happen when I turn 26. Three 6's.
I'm also scared to know what's going to happen next month.It's getting worse and worse little by little. My parents don't believe me this is happening, but my sister witnessed it. What can I do to get this thing to leave me alone? Is it possible that something is like, following me or attached to me or something? I never did anything to trigger these events.. I'm the only one in my house experiencing this, and I'm scared.

You could have them sent to your email from her phone if you can get ahold of her, and upload them from your computer after you've saved them.

I'll call her phone - It's usually turned on.
If she's out in the country she may not have service. Fingers crossed she's around town.

She's uploading them onto her flicker account now as I type this, so I'll have them up in a moment.

I wouldn't be scared, but would feel honored that "someone" is trying to get my attention. You haven't been attacked or hurt in any way; there doesn't seem to be anything to fear. I look forward to seeing the photos.

Hon, if you click "go advanced" , then at the top of the message thing there is a paperclip. This is where you upload these. Copying them and pasting them here won't work like myspace. You need to add them as attachments.

Positive. Even if she did, it has the anti-blur or whatever, so pictures never blur out. This is the first time any pictures have blurred on her.

No sorry I'm just kidding I don't want to scare you, If you've not ever seen it, DON'T.

Anyway, I really don't think it's anything harmful. Seems like you have a spirit or guardian attached to you the date and number might have something significant to do with it. I think that if you really don't want it around you, then you should keep a dream catcher in your room, and if you're religious then maybe some crosses. It might help you settle some of your uneasyness.

My friend had one in her old house. I spent the night one night, we had the lights off and the fan off, and it statred knocking the light chain against the light cover. So she said "you know, we're trying to sleep, you need to cut that out." and it stopped. If it does it again say something like "yes yes I know you're there, you have my attention but you're really freaking me out, please stop". See what happens.

I'll try that next month when it takes place again since the 16th is finally and officially over :)
