I have one electrical outlet on the wall that powers my TV, cable and a light. It was working fine but this morning nothing I plug into the outlet works. The breakers have not been tripped. There is no reset as this is a 30 year old house. Does it mean the outlet needs to be replace and just may be old?

You are positive it is the outlet that has no power, as in you don't have a power strip plugged into it that has tripped or is off?
Is it the only outlet on the circuit? Do the others have power?
With the circuit breaker off, remove the outlet and check to see how it was wired. If it is just the push in connections (back wired) , redo the connections using the screw terminals on the outlet.
Let us know if that helped.

Test for power right a the receptacle using a multimeter or even a neon light tester. What does this mean"no reset as this is a 30 year old house" all breakers have a reset.

Is it possible that the outlet is protected by a GFCI? I had similar problem to this once-upon-a-time and it turned out that the GFCI had been tripped, shutting off a bunch of other receptacles.

No reset?? Better make sure and cycle the breaker off and then back on before taking anything apart. The real problem could be that you are overloading the plug circuit.
