I just wired a three way light system.

I want to wire (splice) a plug off the last on/off switch (last prior to light fixture). To do this I will use three wire (white/black/red/green) off the switch and splice together the black and red, then go into the black connector on the plug. Logic tells me it should work as the black and red are alternately hot. Yet, I am a newbe at this so my logic could be flawed.

Can I do this?

I'm basing this on how I interpret your description.

Assuming you ran power (black to common) to the first switch and carried your neutral and your red/black - travelers to the other switch and have your light hooked up to the white neutral and black to common on the last switch.

No. If you splice together the red/black then they will both be hot all the time and your light will be on all the time.
