I have a 35 year old full sized house trailer I use for a week-end place several times a year. The water supply is from a shallow well & pump. Last week the pump would not quit running, so I replaced the pressure switch (20/40) and fixed the problem. I suspected the pump was going bad because I had to lower the high pressure to get the pump to stop running. The new switch had a single spring so I was able to do that.

This week we have several clogged faucets/toiles in the trailer. I suspect the impeller has lost a vane and sent debris through the plumbing. What woud be the best way to unclog this?

Should I open the pipe where the supply comes in or an outside faucet and blow air through the pipes in reverse or try and systematically flush the pipes with water?

You can try back flushing. Are you certain that the water level in the well isn't low and the pump is pulling dirt out of the bottom of the well?

Water level is fine. Looks like calcium buildup as it is about 1/32-1/16 size particles and are non metallic. Back flushing worked. Thanks for the help...
