Hello, I have recently been arrested for a drug related offense (my first arrest). I fully expect to get convicted of some sort of felony crime in the USA. I am a citizen of the USA and I am not a canadian citizen. I do own land in Canada and would like to access it. I have read all the laws about rehabilitation etc... Can I enter canada with a felony if I am a land owner, does this make any difference ? I assume the answer is no.

Thanks, CH

I assume the answer is no. Hello CH:

That would be my assumption too. Course, if you're driving, they don't check everybody.

I am a felon from the u.s.a.. I need to apear before a magistrate, judge, etc. in Canadian courts. I am having land from my family put into my name in title, from a probate of their estate. I will need to apear one or two days in court. Then leave Canada, come back here , have passport. Is there another 'form', besides rehabilitation form? This court appearance has to do with energy production, resources, in Manatoba Ca.. Should I go to the canadian embassey here in the u.s.a.. Waiting a year for a 'rehab form' either to be accepted or denied. Is extremely time consuming, like all red tape I understand these are the proceedures, are there other ways to get access to the court room in Canada,it is my living, source of income.Thank you for any new ideas, that you may suggest.
