He was taken from me by the state and my father his grand father is trying to get gardainship of him.

Why was he taken and how long ago did this occur ?

If the state took the child from you, they MAY have given you conditions that you would have to satisfy to to regain custody. Did that happen? Did you fulfill those conditions?

Unless you can show that the reasons the state too k your child no longer exist you don't stand a chance.
