What is the process behind estimating cash disbursements?

Is this for real, or for homework? If for real, some of it is easy and some difficult. The easy things are bills that occur on a fairly regular basis and can be easily estimated. The complicated takes looking at the past good and hard, trying to make projections, and basing disbursements on that. That isn't a question someone can just answer simply.

If for homework, it all depends on what type of information you're being given in the problem, meaning it's still impossible to answer without knowing what that is.
