Let her know that it took 9 months to put the weight on, therefore it's going to take a while to get the weight off.
Healthy eating and exercise are what she needs to do.

Yes, I know how she feels I had my baby a week ago, but I know it took nine months so I'm not stressing that much, I have been walking every day when the kids daddy gets home, I got to get back in shape. I hate my size. I want my pre pre pregnancy weight back.(my daughter was 3 months old when I got pregnant with my son) got a ways to go but try to stay positive about it. Well that's what I'm doing
Best of Luck.

Ohhh, it isn't easy! I lost 40 pounds but with my first pregnancy I turned into a whale (90 Pounds) due to Gestational Diabetes... I lost 45 pounds then got pregnant again and lost 25 pounds (which was the pregnancy weight gain) but still need to loose the weight I gained even before I got pregnant at all!! It is a lot of work... drink plenty of water, eat properly and try to be as active as you can. After my last post about weight loss... and Body for Life I lost almost 8 pounds!!
Right now baby is more important... relax... take care of baby and then when baby is a bit more independent and mobile (not only do you have to chase him/her around) you could work out a bit more freely. I have two and I can't seem to find the time... but eventually... at least eat properly and drink plenty of water.
Good luck!!

Thanks,
My husband takes care of the kids while I walk
That gives me a little me time, I don't handle stress so good, so I take 30 mintues out of the day to myself. I was 130 when I got pregnant with my little girl, I gained 70 lbs after I had her. Then when I got pregnant with my little boy I weighted 169 and I gained 66 lbs while I was pregnant this last time, I have already lost 15 that was right after I had him, I can drop weight quick though, I can sit on the couch and do nothing and lose weight. I do sit ups at night and I just try to be active, chasing my one year old around is almost enough, then you got house work on top of everything else. I guess I have to keep myself busy or I will start to cry for no reason or get really depressed.

Ohhh, I am soooo jealous! My hubby goes out on Wednesday nights and I am ALWAYS with the kids! Not one night for personal development hehe! My hubby works very hard and I usually take the 20 minutes I have for a bath (though it isn't very peaceful - still relaxing with the LUSH products) or reading a book. I do Ti Boe (as silly as it sounds :)) and it helps with flexability, cardio weight loss and muscle devlelopment (I have used Ti Boe for years and years... since I was 18) but it can be discouraging because they go so fast... eventually you will be conditioned to the video's and get faster then them))... results show up within the first two weeks if used daily for at least 30 minutes to an hour. I am so lazy at times (tired) but if I picked my butt up and used the AB Lounger I had... it is quick and painless to use and results could vary up to 3 weeks. Also... I am now contemplating on the new AB Circle Pro:

What do you think? A gimic or do you think it would help us? Something else, I can loose weight really, really fast but then gain it right back... it sucks... we really need to stay on top of losing weight (Cardio for weight loss and weights for extra weight loss and muscle development). Here is another thread I found really informative to help guide you in your finding of calorie intake:

I also heard that Losing Weight for Dummies is good... there are so many pills, diets and everything we just get confused... I am at at a loss for so many things too!

I have some tapes. I have never tired them, but I will give them a try now, maybe my little girl will find it fun she a mess she one and does everything I do. I have to get to bed right now. But I will check those links out. My shift of four hours is coming up me and my husband take shifts at night, I'm lucky I know,
Nice talking to you :)
