My teacher assigned a persuasive speech assignment. I've been wracking my brain, trying to find the perfect idea, but I'm struggling to come up with a really good one. Does anyone have any ideas? And it can't be anything controversial or emotional like abortion, topics based on conspiracy theories, topics dealing with diseases,or topics that endorse particular projects.
I would really appreciate anybody's help.Thanks
This was the prompt the teacher gave:
Persuasive Speech II: The object of the speech is to advocate change. Specific action must be recommended. “Action” is defined broadly to include physical as well as “mental” actions. For example, a recommendation for a “mental” action may advocate a shift in attitude. Feedback will focus on development and support of claims, organization, audience adaptation, delivery, and style. An AUDIO/VISUAL AID and a Works Cited page with AT LEAST EIGHT SOURCES are REQUIRED. Turn in a full-sentence Roman numeral outline. (10 minutes)
