Hi all.
I'm trying to find out the title / author of an old published sci-fi story.
The plot:
A group of thieves decides to get aboard an old, abandoned but still very powerful battlecruiser of a long gone empire. The ship is still maintaned and heavily defended by a computer. After attempting to trick the computer into giving them access (and control) of the ship, they formulate the plan that consists of sneaking, in spacesuits only, past the heavy turret defense of the ship during a meteor storm. They enter the ship by cutting the metal in the engine nacelle and make their way to the central command.
Other important pieces of info are:
ship's name (and perhaps the title of the story) is something in the lines "unconquerable"
the computer speaks esperanto, apparently official language of the empire that built the ship.
there's a witty discussion between one of the thieves and the computer where the thief tries to guess the password by quizzing the computer
Anyone?
Thanks in advance
