I currently became in possession of a 1928 Series A Silver Dollar Certificate. Here are the stats from what I think you need.
1928 A
A. W. Mellon
Blue Seal... Blue Serial Numbers
W91421983A
"Silver Certificate" written above.
I have also read that it matters if there is an "S" under the ONE on the back. There does not seem to be one.
I thank Flying Blue Eagle in advance for any and all info...
Also if anyone knows where to sell this dollar it would be greatly appreciated...

YOUR answer - #1- signatures are { WOODS AND MELLON} #2-The " S " that you are talking about I think you mean the 1935A silver certificate,which on the front between the seal and signature of MORGENHAU;; They printed "TWO " different ones that series- One had a big "RED ''R" and the other hadf a big "RED" "S" .Note- the red R- meant -regular paper, and the "S" meant SPEACIAL paper;; THESE were{ Experimental notes to test the different papers to see which one had the best wearing qualities;; I don't have the condition and Grade of the note you have but I will give you these values;;{ #1601 -1928A -Woods and MELLON} -VF-20 ( $25.00 ) UNC-63-
( $ 55.00 ) :::{ #1601 *- VF-20-($ 40.00) ::UNC-63-
$ 375.00 ) :::NOTE- THE #1601 -is the catal;og number for this note,in the book, the one with a ( STAR) which you will find at the start of or at the end of the serial number;these notes with a star are a lot more vauleable then a regular note , you will find them in all denomintions;; NOW - you need to know what the { Condition and GRADE of your note is , if you will go to thios " siote I have made up ,you will be able to know this , it teklls you wjhat you need to knowe how to; ;; 1.9) how do you grade the conditionof paper money ;; if you don't know what and how a star note comes about just come back to this p[ost and I will give you the answer if you don't already know;; have a great day and GOD BLESS;;

I think the quality of the bill is not very good. There are no tears but there are about 4-5 folds and it is very dirty looking. The bill itself has no rips or anything. So I'm not sure what kind of quality that is but it is definitely NOT VF or UNC.
Hope this helps.
