Hi , I have a Fujitsu siemens computer .
The problem is while I try to install os the message says in blue screen

(Unmountable -boot-volume)

I really don't know what that means , it appears with all compuers in the same type:(

Please help me as soon as posible!

Thanks in advance,

Nada

It means that whatever the computer is trying to boot from, does not have the operating system on that drive or the operating system has become corrupt. It might possibly be trying to boot from something other than the default hard drive (is there a bootable CD in the drive?), but that is unlikely.

Thanks for response , actually yes it happens after windows starting to load for installation process .

I don't know what I have to do I tries to log in bios to check the boot options ,loaded the default settings , in addition test the Sata cable which connects to the HD, but I vain :(.

May be there is some settings in Bios I have to change?

What do you think?

You can change the boot order in the BIOS. Check that. Many computers have a key that you can hit (<F10> or <F12>, commonly) to get into a "Boot Menu" to select the boot device. If you have one there, try that. At least you'll know that the BIOS is seeing the device.

If you're trying to boot from a DVD, make sure the drive is a DVD drive and not a CD (only) drive (I ran into that last night). If it refuses to boot from a CD/DVD, the machine isn't "seeing" the CD/DVD for some reason.
