Having problems rebooting the operating system on a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop. As the laptop starts to boot, it freezes one quarter of the boot and stays there. I can't restore the system with my disk if it won't boot. I can't even get into the safe mode at all. What can I do to restore my system and save the files?

Something problem with your hardware or bios, or maybe MBR? Use HIREN Boot cd which have lots of tool to fix these kinds of problems.
