Hi, I'm 16 and I've been bleeding quite heavily for about 8 days or so. With clots and all.

Last yr, I bled for 3 weeks and my mom took me to the doctor's, she gave me some hormonal pills, but when after the pills finished, the bleeding came back again.

I just wondered what causes this and how can I treat it. Thanks.

I would suggest going back to the doctor. Sometimes they will prescribe you birth control to stop the menstrual cycle. My friend had her period for a whole month and that is exactly what her doctor did.

Many things can cause this including endometriosis. Only your doctor can tell you exactly what this is and how to treat it.
