Many places will train you if you can afford to pay the price of the training.

The problem will be latter finding a job, while many places will not, the entire trucking industry is laying off badly, and a lot of truckers with experience have trouble finding work.
So you may end up working for low paying dump truck companies to start

Or you could be a truck driver for one of the sewage pump out companies. Don't laugh. Many drivers started this way and moved up in the world.

Also driving a milk tanker is another way. Going from farm to farm and collecting the milk for the distributor.
