Does anyone know what the abbreviation NFSAO stands for in a police remark for a arrest record

Not sure what the NF is but SAO stands for States Attorney Office

It not about firearms. It means the charges were released by the state attornys office. In other words you get arrested and if the state has no case or you know someone they drop your charges. Not filed by state attorneys office. Hope that answers your ?

So basically it means the charges were dropped?
