Ok I only remember a few things about the movie;
It was set in real time and in a fantasy world.
This group of kids somehow make it into this other world.
In this one scene the kids are going down this river in a boat and are floating up to this island which had children with wings in the air. Almost like farries, but they were these fantasy children which could choose to have wings or not.
The kids get to the island just as a little girl is about to slide down this big mud shoot into the mouth of this scarey mud creature head. Well the girl goes down into the mud head. They shoots out of the mud after with wings. The kids ask the ruler of this island why she did that and he said "she wanted to be more light on her feet".
If anyone can help me that would be great :) :)
