I am 17 years old and I just broke up with this amazing girl... its been a month and I miss her real bad... but she's going out with another guy... he happens to be my enemy(from childhood)... seeing her everyday drives me crazy... I've started drinking and also smoking and have completely lost interest in studies... I know I should give up all this and try to get over her by getting rid of anything that reminds me of her... but the problem is that we're in the same class and I see her daily... even the guy she's with... we also share the same friends... so I can't get away from her and she can't from me... she's always on my mind... she sometimes gives me hints of still being friends but am spending a lot of time thinking which is better... speaking to her or not... this year is very crucial and I have to concentrate on my studies... I'm totally lost... what should I do...

Drinking when your already feeling sad only makes you feel worse... stop!
Get involved in other activities away from her, football or a contact sport will help allivate some of your frustration.
It takes time to get over a broken heart, and its harder when you have to see her everyday, but you can change the way to think about the situation...
She has already moved on,the fact that she is with someone you dislike makes no difference. She is still gone.
Your 17,and I'm sure this hurts like hell, but there will be other amazing girls, chaulk this one up as your starter girlfriend, people rarely stay with their high school sweet heart for life.

Drink's a depressant so cut that out-then try to find your inner strength to move on-dont talk to her apart from a short hi when you have to-your whole life's ahead of you and you need to get back on track for your studies . Time is a great healer and you will feel better in a while.
