Hello OK here's my problem I got a bad driving record not denying any of it but 31/2 years ago I was stupid got a couple of dwls so the cop gave me a ticket and said I had to go to court well I got into an accident and ran from the site well they got me and I went to jail... while I was in jail I got convicted for the hit and run but did not realize I had court for the dwls I did 13 months in prison got hit with restatution and I have no problem I know I was wrong but they didn't send me to my other court date and I got released and as I'm clearing up debt I find out 21/2 years later I find out I got a warrant so I take care of it and then I get a letter from the dept of licensing that my license is suspended for 7 years as habitual traffic offender and that's fine I did it but the 7 years is starting now when if they had me in court then 31/2 of my 7 years would be gone already any ideas I live in pierce county, wa lawyers won't touch it DoL said not there problem I've been very good since then holding jobs and not driving nothing since any help would be great
Thanks God Bless

You say that lawyers won't touch it. What was their rationale in not taking your case errr your money in an effort to try and legally help you?

Sorry, hard to prove 'they did not tell you of dates" And normally the 7 years is a statuetory issue. You can appeal it, but I would not hold my breath

Well I found only 1 lawyer to take it for 2850.00 but he says at that it's a 50/50 shot so not sure 50% is worth 3k but no other lawyer yet has told me that so I don't know if he's trying to get one over on me or not but its not through a court just a hearing officer
