I have a Whirlpool washer model # gsx9885jq0 how do I bypass the off-balance switch. I have tested this part but before I spend the $95.00 I would like to make sure this is my problem.

When you say you tested it, what exactly did you see? How many wires go to the switch? It should be a simple matter to bypass, but in order to be sure, I'd like to know what you know so far.
