Hey guys,
I am aware that we are able to identify the bacteria causing meningitis by doing a lumbar puncture. Pneumococcus, Haemophilus influenzae type b or Neisseria meningitidis?

But I believe meningitis can be caused by viral infection, other medications and other illnesses as well.

So is there anyway to apply Koch's Prostulates rule into here?
P.S. The Koch's Prostulates is a method for Koch to actually identify that particular bacteria is the one causing the disease.
