I noticed my question asking what skin products/procedures Latoya Jackson used to lighten her skin with, was deleted earlier today. I am unsure why unless it was due to a distaste to Latoya J...

But anyway, I wouldn't want to go as drastic as Latoya did but possibly alter her regimen to look more natural. The same with Lil' Kim. Anyone has any ideas or theories to this? Hq/Ra, chemical peels, etc?

I think she use,mequinol maybe mix with tretinoin,because the lighten is very even,I don't think hydroquinone,because when you stop hq,use you tend to get darker than before,I think mequinol/retin-a mix,I can be wrong she may uses natural very potent whiteners... latoya,only now's...

I don't know her age but she looks horribly old for a celeb :(

It is widely said/compared that her brother used monobenzone, laser, and she uses hydroquinone, steroid.

Both siblings turned out noticeably patchy even under professional airbrush.

Janet's skin looks so much better, probably because of what she didn't use, that her sibs did.

And Golden Boy I think her aged look also has to do with how much plastic surgery she's had done. :(

Yeah I know. Funny what airbrushed photoshop techniques can do to a person. I added this one up there because she looks so much like Janet in that pict, only slightly lighter. Even her nose is less noticeable.

But yeah she looks aged because she is aged, she's 53. But, I always imagined her being much older that MJ. Before looking up her age, I thought she was about 60-65 ys. Old. And yeah the plastic surgeries.

Do you think it could also be hq and chemical peels? Or something no one of celebrity status has ever heard of?

Ooooo I think it could be the chemical peels! And wow. She's 53? Well then she does look all right for her age then! Let's not be toooo harsh.

If you look at her when she was younger she was a high yellow girl.

When Geraldo had his talk show he asked her did she bleach her skin and she said "no I've always been this color", of course they audience groaned like they didn't believe her but then they showed this old group photo of mom and dad and the rest and she was the light skinned girl in the family.

She did not need to lighten, she was already a very nice natural shade, she looks off white now. She's still in great shape! :)

Yeah she has a great figure and must work out. But, when you look at her face compared to the rest of her body, her face tends to look paler while the rest of her is more of a light brown. These were the better picts of her, but a lot of other picts there looks like she is applying something else to her face to make it look lighter than her body, and notice her hands. It seems to be more than a lighter shade of makeup.

L.J. was always light esp factoring in how few people used sunscreen back then. So maybe assume some layers of tanning when you look at her older photos?

If she's using brighteners and sunblock on her face and neck that could account for her facial color, but I don't know. It's yet another Jackson mystery to me.:p

I think it's got to be chemical peels on the face Golden. I think too many peels will age you and of course dramatically change the color of the skin on your face of course. In the picture with the bandanna on, I think her neck only matches her face because of heavy make up? I don't know. Just a guess though. I still think she looks gorgeous in that bandanna pic though.

Sibling Rivalry always exists. However, I thought it existed more in siblings of the same sex!

LaToya has always been the paler one in the Jackson family... infact, she was the only one out of the immediate family that I could see from old photographs when she was younger, that had a more yellow/bright complexion to her. I'm sure she bleached later in life to get even lighter, but she is not a dark brown complexion, naturally. I'm sure she probably just uses makeup for her face because in some interviews I've seen, she looks extra WHITE.

Her hand colour is notably darker. I noticed this when she was on Big Brother in the Uk. Every time she put her hands to her chin, it was like someone had come up behind her and was touching her face. With all their millions you would have thought she would have gotten this sorted out. I guess the hands for some, are truly the hardest to lighten.

Some of the face being lighter has a lot to do with makeup... she seems to be wearing full coverage "pancake" makeup in a shade that is just lighter than the rest of her... I don't know why peple do this... lol... ghost face makeup...

LaToya has always been lighter than her siblings. However, even in very early pictures, you can see the white powder she uses on her face. It's a huge contrast to the rest of her. Why no one has ever told her it looks weird is beyond me. It looks like a mask. Also, I don't know what she uses, but in the 90s, she was almost as white as Michael. A lot of it is body makeup though. Her hands are way darker than her face and neck.

In some of those photos when she was younger , she appears to be very pale. And it looks unnatural. I think it was due to the makeup. Back in the 80s a lot of black women piled on that light makeup that was 20 shades lighter than them. Even Janet was doing it.

I'm pretty sure she bleaches but she probably doesn't have to bleach that much being that she was pretty light to begin with

Oh I forgot what she looked like back in the day... I really always thought that the Jacksons were cute as chubby broad nosed, brown Jacksons... But I don't get why they always like to slick down the "Baby hair" lol... that's always been a G-fab habit that they just won't break...

That is true. Part of it could be a bunch of makeup, Barry101, Vicky_D, & DarkSkinGirl. And the other too many high percentage chemical peels in hopes to keep her youth. Yeah, she has always been the lightest sibling and over the years possible tanning she tried to avoid, but tends to show on her hands.
