The desktop was connected to a wireless broadband router through Ethernet cable and it surfs the internet without any problem. The laptop can connect to the network without problem but when I open Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, I've got the same result,
"problem loading," and no server."

Thanks

Hi,
Just a premininary observation, but I would think it may have a static address or not be looking to the DHCP server to assign it an outbound address.
Peace,

Click Start -> Run, type "CMD"
In Command Prompt, type "IPCONFIG /ALL"

Do this on both computer and laptop.

Check is the (IP, Default Gateway, DNS Servers) addresses are roughly the same. Only the IP should be different. The rest should be the same.

If it is, open CMD again, and type ping Google (http://www.google.com)
If it gives you a number next to (Google (http://www.google.com)) ex. 209.85.229.99 then you should check you browser and network settings.

Cheers
Grant
