I don't know if this is the right category, but...
I have moved from my country, my mum, my whole family and friends... To live in another country with my dad for one year.
At first I thought I was going to be okay, but the loneliness is driving me crazy... and I have 8 months left.
I just want to go home. But mum says I have to stay here because I'm getting good grades at school, unlike at home.
I really want to go home.. what should I do?:(

Ok, #1 you have got to hang in there. I don't know your situation or why you are there but you have to HANG IN THERE!! In the late 1980s I too moved 1,000 miles away from my home, everything I had ever know was gone. I made that move on my own but at the same time had no other choice. I found myself alone, a southern boy in a rude northern towm (north carolina to Maine in the USA). I had made friends but I missed home. It was an extremely hard thing to do but I was able to dig down deep within myself and find the ability to cope with my feeling utterly alone. I was 19 at the time, I don't know how old you are but always remember that you CAN get past this and years down the road when you are older like I am now (43) you might be able to look back and have learned some valuable lessons from this. PLEASE PLEASE HANG IN THERE YOU CAN DO IT!! This is only a MOMENT of time in your life, you have a lot of years here on earth, don't despair my friend those 8 months WILL pass and you will be a better person for it. Good Luck and God Bless You. Remember , you CAN find that strength inside of you, you CAN do this!!
