Sorry, I don';t know the refrigerator model and I know that my filter needs replacement. The crushed ice and cubed ice buttons work when selected. But when I select the water button no water will dispense. The lines look fine.
Could an old filter cause the water to not be dispersed??

If you can still make ice then your water supply line is good but dump out the old ice and see if you can make new ice. Likely you can't so close the valve up stream the GE filter and remove the cartridge, now slightly open the valve, are you getting water out through the open cartridge tube? Back to you
