Recently I've been having small, very short sharp pains in my uterus area. It's not on either side, more toward the front. They kind of feel like small gas pains in the front. And they only last about 3 seconds at the most. I don't think that I am pregnant, and I'm certain it's not a disease. What could be some other causes? Could it possibly be in my bladder instead? I have a kidney disease that's been remissive for about 9 years or so, but I'm more likely to get bladder infections. Could something like this be the cause?
I want to set up an appointment with a doctor soon, but I don't have the money right now.
I'm going to go as soon as I can to get it checked out, but I'd like some opinions so that maybe I have an idea of what to expect. Any thoughts?

Edit: Kay I remembered that about a week ago, they WERE more on the left side, sort of between the hip bone and where my belly starts. Maybe I was just ovulating? But I don't remember it being on a specific side before. The pains on that side have since then gone away, and now I only feel small ones toward the fron every once and a while, it's not frequent.

ohsohappy, it could be your bladder and given that you have remissive kidney disease I would suggest that you see your doctor asap. When you say kidney disease, were you ever on dialysis ?

No I was never on dialysis. I don't remember what it is called wither (I know that's terrible, but nothing comes to mind)

Also, I just had another small sharp pain on my left side toward the front, and it was very subtle. (I did an edit while you responded.)

Okay, notso, I know what that is. I know that sharp pains can happen to us females anywhere in that area from time to time but I still think you should see your doctor. Is it the same one who treated your condition, or the same one who found it? A specialist ?

The last time I went to see a specialist was a pediatrician, and it was 9 years ago. One of the most obvious signs that my kidneys WOULD be acting up again would be blood in my urine, which I do not have. I'm also not getting the spots on my legs that I had before. I don't think my kidneys are doing anything strange, because I keep a close watch on it and everything else seems as normal as it possibly can be. I should also add that whenever they would flare up is when I would get strep throat. I haven't had that in as long as I've has the symptoms.

It's in my uterus or blatter area, I don't feel anything weird in my kidneys.
