My mother is 80,he is suffering from kidney disease, the recent test report shown:
Serum Urea=150
Serum Creatinine=5.4
Serum sodiuml=144
Serum K+ =normal

He is taking medicine from moulana hospital kerala from past one months. All I want to know is how we can reduce Serum Urea and Creatinine.
doctors told me that only one way to decrease the level of this by the dialysis
but doctor told that her age is over also weight is 35kg ,so that the doctor told me that during the dialysis even cardiac arrest may occur.
Please suggest some quality medicine for this.
Thank you

Please don't post your email - it's dangerous and not allowed.

I would follow the recommendations of the Physician. There is no easy way around kidney failure, no magic formula, no magic diet. And, yes, dialysis is a risky business. Some people tolerate it better than others and cardiac arrest is a BIG risk.

Diet becomes a very big issue with kidney failure and should be carefully monitored by a PROFESSIONAL.

I think giving you advice on alternate methods, medications, diets is dangerous.

And my husband died from complications of end stage kidney disease, was on dialysis for some time - I know what I'm talking about.

Creatine is found in red meat.
