I have a Windows Server machine that acts as my DNS Server, DHCP server and print Server. I am currently wanting it to be a web server as well.

Here's my plan (explaining why I want it to be a web server)

My brother is part of a Michigan Governmental Youth Board called HOPE. They are looking for a new site hoster for their website. They're also looking to create a new website. They talked to me about possibly hosting this website and creating one according to standards set forth by the youth board committee panel.

Here's the deal, I have only used Apache to host my own HTML website. I have never used Windows Application Server ie:IIS etc...

I have the application server role enabled but I am unsure of if its correct because it doesn't give me an option to manage it. When I go into manage servers, under the application server it just has blue information marks. My other servers will have manage this server etc... buttons. So I tried uninstalling this role but it says IIS cannot be uninstalled. I am unsure of what to do. So any insight would be appreciated.

OK I finally got IIS to uninstall. So it removed the application server role which is what I wanted. Now I am starting from scratch.

I want to add the application server role which will install IIS, ASP.net. etc... so I am doing that right now I guess I will see what happens

OK it's allowing me to manage it now. I guess I don't need help after all. Yet anyway!
