Hi there,
I just moved into a home and I am trying to change out the thermostat that is currently installed. The current therm. Is a TRANE thermostat.
It has four main wires hooked up to it:
-Red going to the R terminal
-Green going to the G terminal
-Yellow going to the Y terminal
-White going to the W terminal
It also has a black wire jumping from terminal 1 to terminal 2.
The wires coming out of the wall are red, blue, green, yellow, white, orange, brown, black.
The terminals on the Robertshaw are C, L, R, Y1, Y2, E, G, W2, O, and B.
There were only 4 wires hooked up to the original thermostat, so I am hesitant to just start hooking stuff up. Any help would be greatly appreciated, the manual is not helpful at all.
