My refrigerator drain pan is glued in, but so dirty, I'm thinking about breaking it, to get it out, it's a frigidaire and about 7 years old. Can anyone please me? Thank you.

Is it glued in, or just stuck there by gunk? Have you tried to loosen it by slowly and carefully pushing a flat metal spatula or butter knife under the pan and then back and forth to loosen the pan? (Some refrigerators have a recycling water system that goes through a drain under the vegetable drawers somewhere. The water that doesn't go down the little drain evaporates and leaves nasty gunk behind.)

How are you supposed to clean it??
I'd call a Sears appliance store (or a store that caries this brand) and ask them if they know what people have done in the past.
Frididaire is now owned by Electrolux. Call your public library to get an 800 number for them (if possible, if they have one). Or read over this for contact information --
