I have trouble doing this problem:

If x= (square root of 3-y), what is y in terms of x?

How do I do this ?

Well, do make sure you isolate y, and this is by doing the same mathematical operation on both sides of the equal sign so that the equality remains true.

x = \sqrt{3-y}

How can you remove the square root?

survivorboi? Are you still here?

You have to square both sides of the equation to cancel the squ root. After that, I'd by x^2=3-y and I can solve that =) thanks!
