I had a judgement against me and just started working again. My checks are direct deposited and I looked at my account today and it was -24,000.00. How can this be and is there any way to stop it?

How can this be? You have a judgment against you! This gives them the right to attach your bank accounts. Stop your checks being direct deposited.

If they truly have a judgement against you they will usually take double what is owed. If your funds are social security they can not be touched by judgement except taxes child support

Out of reddies but you are 100% incorrect. SS CAN be touched for school loans and tax obligations.

You are posting consistently incorrect and misleading information.
