I was approved for a 30,000 dollar loan from a company called silver springs lending company. They want me to give them 2,500 and that will go toards my 30,000. I went to my bank and he was puzzled by it all. So it has raised questions in my mind. The company is based out of New York and I can not find them anywhere on the internet. Does that sound like a bad deal? Am I looking to get burned? My credit is bad and said they needed the 2500 to post for my amount as of 6 months because I'm a high risk with bad credit. I have 7 days to apply or I loose the loan. How or what should I DO?

Something about this just seems odd. Did you find this company? Or did they contact you? Did you ask them why only one week to decide? I don't understand why you would have to give them 2,500. But maybe I just don't understand loans entirely. What is this loan for?

OK, I don't know how reliable these sources are. I admit that. But, better to be safe than sorry. And since the last one looks like it might be at least somewhat reliable, I'm going to go with, these people are scamming you. Or at least trying to.

I found them on the internet.. and it says in contract the lender reseves the right to retract the offer rendering this agreement null and void if borrow does not fulfill the prerequisite obligations. I'm doing search silver spring lending I'm not having any luck looking for scam. I don't know New York so its getting difficult

This really looks like a scam. I couldn't find anything on the at all googling them. But I found article after article, page after page, that says the scam lenders are the only ones that ask for money up front for a loan. Like I said, a lot of them were from sources that may or may not be reliable. But I still think it's better to be safe than sorry. I'd pass on this offer if I were you. It shouldn't matter if you know New York or not, if this were an honest, legit lending group. The scam companies always seem to be the hardest to track.
