I have a vintage red leather chair that has old dried paint on it. Any idea on what to use to take it off without harming the leather? Thanks

If it is latex paint it would be easier then oil based paint. Do you know which it is ? On oil based paint you would have to use varsol which will ruin the leather. Latex paint needs a bit of gentle rubbing to remove, but you will still have residue.

I am not sure if its latex or oil, but varsol sounds to strong. I heard rubbing alcohol or acetone may work also.

Thanks for your reply

Well, of course, that's what I said varsol will ruin the leather. Follow KISS's link which sounds pretty good. I wouldn't use acetone, it is nail polish remover and will take the colour out of the leather.
