There are about 2" long rust stains on some of my clothes from my dryer. I can not get it fixed right now but was hoping to find out if I can get the stains out?

Check a decent hardware store. Rover (R) Rust remover is one such product, but there are others.

If there is some rust on the drum, sand and then wet sand and paint with a high temperature paint (1200 F). e.g. http://www.exhaustpaint.com/

The better solution might be a high temperature epoxy (not standard epoxy paint) paint for wear resistance, but I'd have to take the temperature of the drum to find out. I didn't find a good source.
