Hi... I'm new to this site.
I have a General Electric gas furnace. It's about 30 years old and I've been it should replaced. I don't know anything about furnaces. The one I have is still heating the house OK.
I'm retired and trying to watch my bucks.
Is it possible to replace whatever parts are wearing out in my present furnace (as opposed to buying a complete new furnace? Is it a wise thing to consider?
In general, what should I consider in buying a new furnace and what kind of money should I be thinking of. I live in Michigan. Winters can be quite cold.
General comments will be appreciated and thanks.
