I live in a mobile Home. The toilet runs all the time. I hit the tank- eventually it stops running. As soon as the toilet is used and flushed-it starts over again. Running, running,running. I decided to turn off the water valve under the toilet. Before I went out , I turned the water valve back on. Not sure what happened- but the water will not run into the tank anymore. What did I do- or what happened.

Which ball cock is yours? Sounds like you disturbed some minerals built upmin the pipe walls and now it's blocking the flow. Once you tell me what you have We'll open up the ballcock and start a repair or replacement. Back to you, Tom
