Both my cats have gone missing over the last week. I am nine months pregnant and wondering if this has anything to do with it? I have put out flyers and checked with local pounds etc... any other suggestions?

Don't forget vet's offices and the papers.
Don't know about cats, but there is strong anecdotal evidence that dogs can sense pregnancy and respond in strange ways. I wouldn't be surprised if somehow the 2 are connected.

Hi if your cats are toms then there maybe a female cat on heat, Its rare for female cats to roam to far away from home, Other things such as changes in your habits can make cats wonder, Also they may have found someone who feeds them the food they prefer, Cats are free creatures and they always know where there home is when hungry so Don't worry too much they are great survivors and you should be taking care of yourself instead of worrying, Best wishes CHRIS.

Cat's can respond in strange ways to pregnancy although I have never heard of them running away.
It's more likely someone picked them up thinking they were strays or the pound picked them up.
Unfortunately, cats that roam have a much greater chance of meeting with misfortune such as being hit by a car, attacked by dogs, hauled off my cat-hating neighbors, or picking up a deadly disease such as Feline Leukemia.
I hope they come back safe and sound. If they do, try using Feliway in your home to make them less stressed when the baby comes.
