Txgreasemonkey, Thanks before on your help with the check engine light and sorry to be so long, but had family issues to deal with. I did check the codes and I have a constant single flash. I assume this may be the oxygen sensor according to my Chilton book. I tried to rest by pulling the battery cable with no luck, I also do not have a 7.5 amp back-up fuse? I read your re-marks about the universal sensors, but my question is do you think this is the right direction and is there a way to test the sensor since there is plenty of money involved? I'm sure this is the original one with 162,000 miles on it? Thanks for all your help!

Sounds like you diagnosed everything correctly. I would replace the Oxygen Sensor with one made by Denso. Shop online for the best possible price.
