Hi, I need to run about 1300 feet of wire to a little house in the country, out side the usa so there is no inspection, some people use 10 or 8 gauge
Wire but can't use noting that takes allot of current.
I would like to use a microwave, 110v window ac & a 110v tankless water heater wich usses about 25 amp and not having to turn of averyting else. But price matters so I am thinking aluminum wire but was wondering what is the smaaler gauge I can use I don't have anyting else the draws allot of current. I don't mine having a 35 to 55 amps box if it will work. Thanks

1300 feet is a ridiculous distance to run 120 volts, so get the largest aluminum wire you can afford, and deal with whatever voltage drop you get.

I get you need #500 MCM Al to deliver 35 amps @ 120 volts 1300 feet for a 5% voltage drop.

So I get that would be too costly for you.

Since most electrical appliances, motors, etc will run on plus or minus 10% voltage range, a #4/0 Al would be the smallest for 35 amps. Anything smaller the Vd will be too high to allow the appliances to run at all.

All we know here is how to do things properly, under reasonable conditions, so to expect proper results.

For this run at minimal costs, your guess is good as anyone's.
