I have a 2000 tahoe Z71 edition. I can't start it. THe security light is flashing instead of staying on for 5 seconds and going away. I have changed out the fuses, but it still won't start. The engine turns over, but it seems to not be getting any fuel. What else can I do?

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter. It will test for power to the fuses, as well as the fuses themselves.
. Check for codes.
. Check/replace the crankshaft position sensor.
. Check for fuel. Do you hear the fuel pump run, when the ignition switch is turned to ON?

I have a whole series of article on the GM PassLock and PassKey systems on my blog. This is a very common problem and if you're handy, you can fix this yourself.
