I'm chasing a guy that wants to be chased but he's kept this chasing going on for about 12 weeks. But it's like I'm so sick of chasing him and sometimes it seems like he doesn't even want to have a thing anymore and then that's when I get al sad and I pretty much cry every night before I go to sleep because I think of him and the situation I'm in because of him. He should just let me catch him, but why isn't he?. hasn't it been long enough, we have had a thing for a long time now, shouldn't it be time to be maybe boyfriend and girlfriend. But since I've spent so much time doing all this chasing in tired and sick of it and thinking I should just give up. And aren't guys suppose to be going after girls, instead of me the girl going after a guy. Well I like him and I've proved to him and many other people that I do, now it's his turn. But should I just give up, I'm so tired of all this.

Let him go. If you're after a commitment and he can't give you one, time to move on. Although, since you're posting in the teen section, I have to wonder why you seem to be after a commitment anyway?

Sounds like he doesn't want to be caught. If you could quit chasing him you would find out in a hurry what his intentions are. You said you have proved to him that you like him now its his turn to prove it to you. If not than move on. Don't waste another tear on him. You really don't need to be chased or to chase anyone down to have a relationship. Two people should want to be together, no chasing nessesary.

Well yeah I want a commitment, but when your in high school and you really like someone, that's what you want a commitment. But yes your right I shouldve chose a little more wisely when I put it in this grouping. But thanks for the help! It's so hard letting go of him though, I've done it before and all what happened was that I cried missed him and he missed me and. He asked to get back "together".

Well it's not literally chased... that's just the simily I used.

Well no, until you have dated for a period you don't start with a commitment, it comes after months, well at least weeks of dating first

I think you have missed what justcurious and I are trying to say. You asked if you should give up. We answered that you should. We just added some other knowledge.

OK. Sorry it's just not what I wanted to hear because I still like him a lot. And I just don't want to hear give up, even though that's exactly the words I should hear.

I know, it's always easier said than done. But sometimes I think it's easier to do what you should when someone tells you to. So I'll say it again, give up on him. ;)
