a. The market value of gold in December 2001 was about $9800 per kilogram. What was the total market value of all the gold in the Earth's crust at that time?

b. The total US national debt in Decemeber 2001 was about $6x10^12. How many times would the value of the gold pay off the national debt?

c. If there were about 280,000,000 people in the US in December 2001, how many do each of us owe on the national debt?
