OK so I haven't had a period since the end of August. I was on the birth control Pill. There was a death in the family and just a lot of things going on at once so I stopped taking my pills the first week in September. Im haven't had a period since. I have since had unprotected sex and have been having some symptoms. I'm not sure if they are just from stress or if I could be pregnant. Here are my symptoms:

Fatigue
Bloating
Hightened sense of smell
Weird dreams
Increased appetite
Mild cramping
Ovarian discomfort
Increase vaginal discharge

It would be easier to tell if I knew when my period was going to come. All of these symptoms could mean I'm about to start. I have taken 3 tests, all were negative. It has been exactly 10 days since I have had unprotected sex. Could it just be too soon to tell?

You're correct to think this could be due to both pregnancy and/or stress. Stress can easily cause your period to be late.

It could be too early to test. Wait at least 5 more days and test again with first morning urine.

Thanks. Is there a test that can detect lower levels of the pregnany hormone? Someone told me ept was the best brand for that.

OK so I have a crazy question. A lot of websites won't tell you because of course it's bad to do. Ok so I'm a smoker. Well I've noticed that within the past 3 to 4 days, my cigarettes taste weird. I had a pregnancy scare a little while back. But all 3 tests were negative. Could this be another sign? Does being pregnant make cigarettes taste different? Lol. My appetite has gone up as well but I just started a new pack of birth control about 8 days ago. I don't know, maybe that's also why my cigarettes taste different now??

"I just started a new pack of birth control about 8 days ago" suggests to me that you're on the pill? Understand that the pill mimics pregnancy in your body, so it would not be unusual to experience side effects similar to pregnancy symptoms. And among those could be a change in how you taste and smell certain things.

Your cigarettes could be stale, or if you recently had a fire-safety cigarette, and you're usually smoking non, that could be the cause. My cigs taste different all the time, even though I'm not pregnant

I've head manyf women that are smokers and have children say that when they were pregnant their cigs tasted funny and that they couldn't stand the smell their whole pregnancy... I've been smokin newports for six years so I think I know what it taste like, I even asked a friend if I could get one of hers just to make sure they weren't stale. I wasn't trippin... me and my fiancé had sexual intercourse about two weeks ago, and I've been feeling a little nauses, but didn't vomit or anything. I took two home pregnancy tests and both were negative, what's wrong did I take them too early? Because I'm feeling fatigue all the time always hungry but when I eat I feel lkike it all wants to come right back up...

mamadoe, please don't piggyback your question on someone else's thread. I've reported your post and asked the mods to merge this with your other thread seeing as it's the same topic.

Thank you.
