This past May we added another cat to our family. Her name is Emma and she's a ragdoll breed. We simply adore her, she's the sweetest and loving-est cat I've ever known.

It's seems as long as we got her she's had a softer stool then our other cat Felix. It's not loose and messy but just extremely extremely soft compared to Felix's which is very formed and solid. Sometimes she get's it on herself because of her long coat especially by her anus, tail, and the back of the legs.

We intend on bringing them both to the vet very soon for a check up, however I just wanted get some feedback. My one cat Felix has had a history of having urinary track issues and had to have surgery once. Ever since we've had him on a UR wet and dry food diet. We've tried feeding Emma other food but it's very difficult, they always seem to eat each others food and Emma love his food. So we've allowed Emma to eat the same food as Felix. I am thinking this could be the problem. Has anyone had some experience with this? Thanks in advance. :)

What food was she on before she came to you? What food is she on now? Sometimes a change in food can cause this.

It may also be stress. Or worms.
